Default 2005 Stratus SXT Turn Signal / Headlight issue 2.4 Engine

2005 Dodge Stratus SXT 4 cyl 2.4 engine. All Turn Signals work with headlights off. Emergency flashers all flash properly with headlights on or off. Once the headlights are turned on, the driver's side turn signals won't flash. Replaced the Turn Signal Switch on the column, nothing changed.

Anyone else run into this same problem? Solutions? Thanks.

You mean when the PARKING lights are turned on, the left signals don't work? Or do the actual headlamps have to be on?

Hadn't tried it with the parking lights on, but just tried it. Result: With the Parking Lights or Headlights on, driver's side turn signals (front and back) stop flashing.

Emergency flashers still flash properly with parking lights on, headlights on, or with all lights off. Replaced the turn signal switch, nothing changed. (I'm thinking possibly the Square Flasher that plugs into the switch might be bad?) Any other ideas? Thanks.

Then you probably have a corroded bulb socket or someone put single element (or incorrect) bulbs in the brake lamp or front signal

The bulbs and the sockets checked out ok. We decided to order the square flasher module that plugs into the turn signal switch, installed it this morning and that did the trick. Everything now works as intended! Thanks very much.
