2004 Stratus overheating, no heat from blower
My car started to overheat on the freeway today so I pulled over and looked for the source of the leak. I found it on the top of the block where the hoses come in. See pictures below.
Arrows point to where the leak was coming from. It was just below the plate in the photo as if it were a gasket or something.
Overall engine shot showing placement of leak.
My question... what is this thing that's leaking? Is there a gasket underneath it that could be the problem? How hard is it to fix? It's a 2004 automatic 2.7L.
Thanks!

That is your coolant air bleeder. Rockauto has two to choose from, part numbers are 85405 and Z63010. Youre looking at $30 or so. Looks like the part itself is broken, nothing you can repair. Youll just have to replace it. A few bolts, a couple hoses and a sensor. Shouldnt take more than 15 minutes.
Advance auto has it for $66 if your in a hurry.
If you search on google for Dorman 902-302, a bunch of places have it.

actually its a pain in the butt to do its only 4 bolts holding it in place, unless you pull the black thing(intake) off your going to need a flex head ratcheting 8 mm wrench for the right front bolt all you can turn it is 1/8 to 1/4 if your lucky turn each time other 3 bolts fairly easy to get to
