Question 2002 dodge stratus jerks downshifting into first

my 2002 dodge stratus jerks when downshifting into first gear idk whats doing this but if anybody wants to help me plz. thank you

Also today my car has no heat, the antifreeze started disapearing about 3days ago and juat put in about a half of the jug and no heat, i think it might be the heater core but idk.

Check the fluid level.

Well if it's been -10 degrees there like it has here, the radiator might've froze over. It happened to mine and gave me the same problems you had. She's fine now though.
