Finished up putting on my jba headers this morning. Here is a link to a few pics of them on there and one of the old manifolds http://img23.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsci00082b.jpg. We took our time and it took about 4 hours to get the old one's off and the new one's on using all hand tools. The truck is quieter at idle and seems to rev up better/quicker as well as sound better in the higher rpm. I got them from airram through his VIP sale for $430 w/ the titanium ceramic coating. Here is a link to a quick vid http://yfrog.com/5ndsci00012z.

Alright fellas, I just came into a little cash so I'm gonna put some into my truck. I plan on putting in an efan and doing some eye lids as well as tail light tint although I may just go with leds. Anyone have any ideas on what else to do? You can see what mods I already have bellow. I'd love to do some headers but just not willing to drop that much right now.

A few that come to mind which I've already done and felt a good difference after are an ASP underdrive pulley, fastman ported TB, or a magnaflow y-pipe. The e-fan should definitely give you some more mpg and you can do it for like $125 if you go the junkyard route, it's a bit more for the flex-a-lite but that comes with everything you need and is simpler to install.

Is the tb really worth the $240 what are the advantages and disadvantages. I do think I'll get that y pipe now though.

The TB will be $190 as long as you send him your stock one back as a core. IMO it was worth it, before I got it and after I had my gears and DTT installed I had tried do a burnout and failed (even w/ dumping the clutch at 4k rpm). After the TB I revved it up to 3k and dumped it and broke them loose, so for me it was worth it. Out of the one's I listed that you can do yourself the TB is going to be the easiest to put on yourself and the e-fan will make you the happiest due to the mpg gains, which should be at least 1 mpg. I never did a new y-pipe myself but on the advice of my exhaust shop they cut out the old one and ran the 2 pipes into a dual in single out magnaflow that has a y built into it. Most guys say it's like $25 for the y-pipe and $80 for the install so that would be one of the cheaper mods you could do.

haha, you guys and your big fancy mods. i just go for the little stuff, small details and quick fixes. like the eyelids, but maybe instead of eyelids go with the headlights like BlackMamba's? i think they look good...dont know how much though. maybe some new side view mirrors, i just seem to like the folding towing mirrors. maybe a bull bar? maybe a nice exhaust outlet with nice tips? i usually seem to be the only one that likes my ideas though...but no matter what you do make sure you post pics man!

I hear ya ethan. I've done quite a few little things, decals, chrome door handle trim, fuel door, lock pins, painted bezel, led conversion, hids, mopar fog kit,I have a o/h unit sitting in the garage waiting to be installed, hell I even added floor mats (first thing I bought for my truck.) I'd love to get some projectors but I'm not gonna pay the price right now same as the tow mirrors, they looks awsome but damn they're expensive buggers. Just can't see paying that much for mirrors right now. As for a bullbar I just don't think it'll go with the look I'm going for. Still not sure yet, probably go pull a fan tomorrow from the pick n pull. The tb sounds nice too.

You have good ideas ethan, it's just about getting a plan and doing it. I had a plan and it was coming along nice until the economy went to hell. So many mods so little green. I hate this damn forum lol.
