2004 Grand Caravan Factory Installed DVD System Will Not Play Copied DVD's... Does anyone know why??
I need some technical assistance, someone who knows their stuff... My question is that my 2004 Grand Caravan SXT came with a factory 6-Disc In Dash CD/DVD Rear Seat Video System with Wireless Headphones (RF); 2nd Row Overhead 7" Video Screen and Video Remote Control. The DVD player plays regular DVD's but WILL NOT play copied DVD's (copied using 321 Studio DVD X Copy software onto DVD-R discs). I get very choppy audio and video playback. Can anyone explain why this is happening??????

I know it has been a while since your posting, but didn't see a reply if you resolved the issue and I had seen it for the first time today just being a new member so thought I would chime in with my experience...
It "could" be as simple as just trying different media, also trying using a different burning program (dvd shrink is free and great btw) or a slower burn speed, if these discs are playing fine in your home decks yet not in the car id say try some different media, verbatim or fuji maybe? What brand of dvd are you using? Is your burner a + or - unit or both? If so try a - or a + disc from different makers, you most likely WILL find a brand it likes and eventually will get it working...
My sisters new van has the same type setup, she had some dvd-r's from her tivo burner of cartoons off tv for her kids, van just skipped and skipped on them, tried different media (verbatims are what worked for hers) and it worked great for her even off her tivo burner...
I made her a few fujis off my pc using dvd shrink and she said those worked fine too, yet her store brand (generics) media blanks (which DO work in her tivo and other HOME dvd players) skip badd in her van.
Anyways just a suggestion,
Hope you are able to get it all working.
