After market gear shift inidcators
So I just bought a 18 circuit universal truck harness for my 1984 Ramcharger. I am doing a somewhat custom job with the gauges I am using stewart warner electric gauges. I already converted the igntion system to GM HEI as well. I am using the stock cluster as a shell and mounting my aluminum that hold the gauges on top of the stock shell for easy mounting. Well, since I am using aftermarket gauges I neglected to think about a gear shift indicator and turn signals.
I found out that the gear shift indicators are made my transmission well i have the torqueflite 727, the 3 speed jobber. I have only found 2 gear shift indicators for this tranny. One was from Lokar and another from Dakota Digital. The Lokar looks really sharp. My questions are:
Has anyone done this?
Does anyone know of any other manufactures for my needs?
Any other ways of doing this?
Whats the easiest way to do this?
