RE: $20 Oil Catch Can Install Directions Here!!!
Location: Seattle Cost: Around $30
Couple of questions:
1. The OCC resevoir is plastic & had a sticker on it specificaly stating not to be used with synthetic oil. Should I be worried?
2. Where did you mount the OCC between the valve cover & the intake? (Any pics?)
I mounted the the other one exactly where Dusty (think it was him) did in his pic (zip ties & all), so far so good. There is already oil building up in it. Makes me wonder if I should check the oil level (if any) in my intercooler for I drove about 30k without the catch can! (Why didn't I install it sooner!?!)
All in all it was EXTREMELY easy to do and made for a good little Sunday project.

If any new owners out there are curious about what one of these OCCs actually "catch", here's a pic of a Campbell-Hausfeld (Lowe's) mini filter after about 300 miles of mixed driving. This ones mounted on the passenger side (PCV). Glad this stuff didn't go into my intake.[:'(]
