4 Dodge Models Now Come With Discounts Up to $7,100
Dodge is looking to clear out the excess inventory by offering big discounts on a few models based on their horsepower rating.
Stellantis' Inventory Challenge
Stellantis faces a significant inventory challenge in the American market, with dealerships stocked with unsold vehicles. To tackle this issue, the company has launched an aggressive incentive campaign known as "Dodge Power Dollars." This promotion offers customers $10 off for every horsepower on certain 2023 and 2024 models, including the Charger, Challenger, Durango, and Hornet.
Discounts on High-Powered Durangos
Among the most attractive offers is a $7,100 discount on the 2024 Durango SRT Hellcat. This model, equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 710 horsepower, sees its price drop from $95,995 to $88,895. For those seeking a less extreme option, the Durango SRT 392, featuring a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 475 horsepower, is available with a $4,750 discount, reducing its price from $74,995 to $70,245.
Muscle Car Incentives: Charger and Challenger
Muscle car enthusiasts also have something to cheer about. The 2023 Challenger R/T, starting at $41,640, is offered with a $3,750 discount under this promotion. However, it's worth noting that high-performance versions of the Charger and Challenger are excluded from the Dodge Power Dollars promotion, limiting the available discounts on these popular models.
The Struggling Hornet
Even the less popular Dodge Hornet receives incentives, with discounts ranging from $2,680 to $2,880. Despite these efforts, the Hornet remains a challenging sell, as it struggles to attract significant consumer interest.
Future-Proofing with New Models
Stellantis is not only focusing on clearing current inventory but also preparing for future model releases. A redesigned Charger is on the horizon, featuring a new twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine, dubbed Hurricane. This engine will be available in two power outputs, 420 horsepower, and 550 horsepower, surpassing the current 5.7-liter HEMI V8. Additionally, there is anticipation for an electric version of the Charger, reflecting Stellantis' commitment to evolving its lineup to meet future demands.
