Auto Shop Brings Godlike Dodge Viper Supercars to Play at Florida Track

By -

With $50k on the line at FL2K19, these Viper titans were there to win races and nothing else.

Is there really any car that could be considered a suitable replacement for the Viper? We don’t really think so. They are so good at doing just about everything, there isn’t much that can play on their level. Without a doubt the star of the show is the V10 powering the Viper and even though it already has a massive amount of power stock, there is always those that want to turn it up to the next level.

This is where Calvo Motorsports steps in. We have made a post in the past going over an event that Calvo Motorsport attended and subsequently smashed the competition. This is no surprise because Calvo’s bread and butter is the Viper and they have been doing just about everything possible to perfect the platform. The results speak for themselves, because their cars win events, a lot. Last time they had 5 different cars, now they have brought out seven. Considering 1000 HP is a entry-level number for Calvo, we should be in for a wild ride. Thanks to That Racing Channel on YouTube, we get to see just exactly what they brought out this time.

The event where these Vipers showed up is called FL2K, a yearly event where the fastest “street” cars from the southeast of the U.S. meet up to throw down at Bradenton Motorsports Park. According to the event website, there was over $50,000 in cash payouts for winners for the races, so you know that the Vipers came out to win. The team brought out a full spectrum of different vehicles from their stock engine bolt-on cars to their CM2000 kit cars, which make well over 2,000 HP.

As you might imagine, making over 2,000 HP is not a cheap proposition. The CM2000 kit will run you a cool $230,000 on top of purchasing a suitable Viper in the first place. The weekend came with a lot of wins in different classes and even more amazingly, every single car made it home without issue. For those interested in seeing a host of Vipers go head to against GTRs, Lambos, and Porsches, check out the full video.
