Up until recently, I had no idea that Berville, Michigan was even a place. Now, I know that this little town in the middle of nowhere has one thing that I, in Los Angeles, do not: Mud bogging. Despite the ridiculous number of lifted, tricked out trucks in LA, there’re hardly any plastered in mud like this guy’s Ram 2500. The closest I’ve ever gotten to the Berville mud bog is a dirt lot and a hose. As it turns out, the neighbors weren’t too happy about me doing mud donuts in a Toyota Tercel (we all started somewhere right?)
Half the fun of messing around in the mud is getting stuck in it. It’s like testing the limits of what is possible for you and your truck.
Sometimes (frequently) the mud wins. In other types of automotive shenangigans, the fun is over when your vehicle can’t move anymore. A guy driving a powerstroke got to feel exactly what that’s like in the video below. Lucky for him, mudding is a little different from other types of hoonage in that the escape is almost as fun as getting stuck in the first place.
