Chrysler 300 Hellcat Edition: Wicked Wednesday Presented by the All-New Nitto Recon Grappler™ A/T

Chrysler 300 Hellcat edition makes big power, sounds sick, and makes a lovely drift machine. Oh, and it is also for sale.
We said it before, and we will say it again. Hellcat all the things. You got a classic Dodge wagon? Hellcat it. You got a Chrysler minivan? Hellcat it. You got a Chrysler 300? Definitely Hellcat it. The most powerful Chrysler 300 model you can buy today comes with a 5.7L HEMI V-8 that cranks out a respectable 363 horsepower. Not bad for a comfortable family sedan but it won’t set your hair on fire. For fire setting performance you want the Chrysler 300 Hellcat Edition. The only problem with that is Stellantis won’t build you one.
This week’s “Wicked Wednesday” presented by Nitto features a custom-built Chrysler 300 Hellcat edition. Now with 707 horsepower on tap the big sedan has all the performance anyone could reasonably expect. And the engine looks right at home in the 300. Even the hood cutout for the supercharger looks almost factory clean. The car and of course the requisite burnouts and drifts were recently posted on YouTube. Checkout the video on the HelloooimJensen YouTube channel.

It Looks Factory
When a custom build is so clean that it looks like it could have come right from the factory you know the builder did a good job. That is the case with the car we see here. Sure, there is a hole cut in the hood to make room for the big supercharger. But even that looks clean and precise.
The rest of the car looks like any other Chrysler 300 of similar vintage. Of course, if the supercharger poking out of the hood didn’t give things away, the huge Brembo brakes might tip you off that this is not stock. But if you miss all the visual clues there is still one thing that will tip you off for sure. Fire up this Chrysler 300 Hellcat edition and give it some revs. You know right away something is different. It is impossible to miss that supercharger whine.

How Does it Drive?
It drives as insane as you would expect. Even with traction control engaged, the power is just overwhelming, and you can see and hear the car cutting power. The car just wants to break loose. If traction control was not on, the thing would probably light the tires up for a mile straight. But who wants to go straight in a car like this anyway?
This car is made for drifts and burnouts. After a few straight line pulls, it is time to make some smoke. The car drifts around the tarmac just beautifully. Smoke fills the air as the Chrysler 300 Hellcat edition shreds tires with impunity. You can’t put a price on that kind of fun. Actually, you can. The price is $35,000. The car is for sale and that is the asking price. Not bad when you consider that is less than 50 bucks per horsepower.

The video below will show you all of the build details as well as allow you to hear and see this beast in motion. There are not many Chrysler 300 cars out there that are powered by a Hellcat.
This is a rare and entertaining piece of kit. Watch the video and then email Stellantis and ask them to build us a factory version so we can all enjoy the fun.
