Dodge 2500 SEMA Build Is One Badass ‘Monster’ Truck!
Everything about this insane Dodge 2500 build was designed to command attention. Introverts needn’t apply!
When it comes to car shows, SEMA is quite simply on another level. The annual manufacturer showcase one ups itself each year as aftermarket companies do whatever is necessary to grab our attention. Which, of course, means building show trucks that look like they belong in cartoons, not just our favorite car mags. Just take a passing glance as this insane 2010 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab we spotted over at Leake Auctions, and you’ll see what we mean.
Every single thing about this insane Dodge 2500 build is designed to seize control of your eyeballs. For starters, just look at it. With a massive suspension lift, Westin bumpers, Recon lighting, T-Rex mesh grille, and incredible custom airbrush artwork, you won’t miss this thing in a crowd. Even a sensory overload like SEMA. Heck, a stock Mega Cab Ram already comes with more than a bit of presence as it is.
Then we move on to another sense – sound. First, you’ll undoubtedly hear (and feel) the tuned, deleted 6.7-liter Cummins from a mile away. Especially since the exhaust exits through 5-inch Flo Pro pipes with an 8-inch over-axle dump. And if that isn’t enough sensory overload, there’s also a thumping sound system to pump out the jams. With a pair of 10-inch subs and 1,100 watts of power, there’s plenty of juice here to make sure everybody knows you’ve arrived.
All of which is a ready-built recipe for SEMA success. Now the real question is, what kind of folks actually drive trucks like this Dodge 2500 when they retire from the show circuit? Obviously, you’ve got to be a bit of an extrovert to cruise around in something so unapologetically brash. But if excess is your thing, we’ve found just the ride for you!
