Dodge Badassador Program Seeks Passionate Fans to Be Brand Ambassadors
The new Dodge Badassador program is chock full of cool perks for those that are chosen to represent the brand this year.
Following the resignation of Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares late last year, the automaker has already undergone a myriad number of changes as it aims to right the proverbial ship. Aside from canceling certain projects and pushing others back, these moves could even include the return of V8 power to the Ram lineup, but if nothing else, it’s clear that Dodge is quickly realizing that perhaps alienating its passionate fan base by abruptly attempting to go all-electric perhaps wasn’t the best move. Now, it’s launching a new program as Dodge seeks its next generation of brand ambassadors to help spread the love of muscle cars.
What’s officially known as the Dodge Badassador program has but one merely qualification ask – those that apply must be, well, a badass, or in other works, passionate fans of the brand that are interested in representing it at events across the U.S. Those lucky enough to be selected as Badassadors will get to experience the entire Dodge portfolio of performance-focused vehicles including the Charger Daytona R/T, Charger Daytona Scat Pack, Durango SRT Hellcat, and Hornet R/T, for starters,
From there, select Dodge Badassadors will get the chance to travel to various events throughout the course of the year, such as auto shows, enthusiast gatherings, NHRA drag races, new vehicle launches, first drives, and dealer events. Members also get a number of cool perks such as a member card, access to vehicles to create and promote content, VIP experiences at various events, the chance to appear in posts on Dodge’s social media channels, free gear and assorted swag, and the chance to meet people from the Dodge team, as well as celebrities. The Dodge Badassador experience begins at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, where fans can experience the first Dodge Thrill Rides in the Dodge Charger Daytona at the brand’s display area during that event. Those that are interested in applying to become a Badassador themselves can do so by heading over here.
“We continue to push the boundaries of performance, and we’re looking for brand ambassadors who are also ready to shake up the status quo,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “If Dodge isn’t pushing boundaries, if Dodge isn’t making people uncomfortable, we wouldn’t be Dodge, and those are the kind of ambassadors the brand is looking for: enthusiasts who disrupt, who will stand out and shine a light on the next generation of Dodge muscle.”
