Dodge to Give Away 5 Killer Redeyes via ‘Horsepower Challenge’
After a mighty successful year in sales, Dodge will reward owners by giving them the opportunity to win a unique SRT Hellcat Redeye, Nov. 5 – 11.
Horsepower enthusiasts gravitated to Dodge this year, in part motivated by the brand’s “Dodge Power Dollars” program. The promotion awarded customers a $10 dollar per horsepower cash allowance towards the purchase of a Challenger, Charger, or Durango. It was so successful that the brand’s goal of selling 500 million horsepower worth of vehicles finished two months earlier than anticipated.
To celebrate the promotion surpassing Dodge’s expectations, the brand will thank fans in a fairly unique way. The “Dodge Horsepower Challenge: 5 Weeks. 5 Questions. 5 Challengers” will seek to test the minds of the Dodge enthusiast. Visitors to Dodge.com will answer the first round of multiple-choice questions for a chance to win a special edition TorRed Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, Nov. 5 – 11.

Dodge Horsepower Challenge Details
The contest will be hosted by none other than professional wrestler and actor Bill Goldberg. Beginning November 5, Goldberg will appear on Dodge.com every Tuesday at 8 a.m. ET to ask a horsepower-related question with multiple-choice answers. Dodge will give out clues on the brand’s Twitter and Instagram accounts in the form of pictures that contain hidden hashtags designed to narrow down the choices for the multiple-choice answers. Once a question is posted to Dodge.com, visitors will have until 11:59 p.m. ET the following Monday to answer the featured question. In order to remain eligible for a chance to win a Challenger, contestants will have to correctly answer at least one of the five weekly challenge questions.

“At Dodge, we know that no matter how much horsepower you have, a little more can’t hurt. So we’re giving all our loyal fans an opportunity to get one of our highest horsepower Challenger models for free,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Unfortunately, there isn’t really any such thing as free horsepower, so these five lucky Dodge fans will have to earn their way in by answering a horsepower question. Ok, the questions are ridiculously difficult, but it is a free Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, and we’ll help you along the way.”

A Fantastic 2019
It’s been a great year for Dodge. The Durango will most likely finish 2019 with a sales total it hasn’t reached since 2005. The Charger experienced its best third quarter sales in 13 years and is likely to lead the entire full-size sedan segment in sales for the third straight year. The Challenger posted its highest-ever sales in 2018 and is on track to beat that figure in 2019. Over a period of 10 years sales of both cars have increased by more than 60 percent. The impending merger with PSA can only improve the brand’s ability to offer exciting vehicles, as FCA will now have a partner to help spread development costs across more products. That means Americans will continue to get amazing vehicles like the recently introduced Charger Widebody. Be sure to visit Dodge.com on November 5 to enter the contest. Good luck!
