Did you know that it’s Tire Safety Week? Well, if you didn’t, the Michelin Man is here to remind you of the importance of your tires, and how to get the most out of them for performance, safety, and fuel economy.
If you’re frequently doing burnouts in your new Charger Hellcat, you should probably be checking the tread on your rear tires. Heck, it’s a good idea on any car, even if you aren’t doing burnouts. Also, make sure you’re checking your tire inflation. You’ll get better fuel economy with properly inflated tires.
If you’re heading to a race or car event this summer, be sure to keep a look out for the Michelin Man roaming around. Take your kids and snap some photos. And let them know that Michelin tires are on some of the highest performance vehicles sold.
Even though the big man in white is lovable now, he wasn’t always that way. In fact, when advertising first came out featuring the Michelin Man, he was quite scary, as you can see in the photo above. Good thing he’s changed, I don’t need those nightmares again!
