Manual-swapped SRT8 Magnum Is Wagon Heaven
SRT8 Magnum features not only a manual transmission swap but also has a supercharger under the hood and track-ready suspension.
If you’re a fan of the SRT8 Magnum but have been torn on picking one up, now is absolutely the time to get one. We absolutely get it, what’s not to love? The peppy wagon is packed with 425 horsepower and a roaring 6.1-Liter Hemi V8. However, the builders of this Magnum have shown us the light. There is a lot of room for improvement, and they have checked every single box.
The kind folks over at The Drive brought this monster to our attention. While the 6.1 that comes in the SRT8 Magnum stock is no slouch, this evil wagon has a bit more zest, if you will. It features the 6.4-liter Hemi and 6-speed manual transmission from the 2012 Dodge Challenger 392. You read that right; this wagon has three pedals. As if that isn’t enough to convince you, perhaps a little forced induction will. With the installed ProCharger, this bad grocery hauler makes a devastating 529 wheel horsepower. If you consider a twenty-percent drivetrain loss, that puts crank output over 630 horsepower. That’s over 200 horsepower more than stock!

Bidding is now over with reserve unmet, but this Magnum is still for sale on eBay right now with a “Buy It Now” price of $36,995.00. While we understand that it is quite a bit more than most SRT8 Magnum examples will sell for, this one is quite extraordinary. It is, however, also up for auction. So, there is a chance you could get it for less, though they do have a reserve price that has not yet been met. We’re sure some people are wondering if it’s worth it. We definitely think it is, as it’s a lot more than just a manual swap.

The builders of the car, Cleveland Power and Performance, went a lot further than just the drivetrain swap and supercharger. This Magnum is ready to do anything from taking the kids to soccer practice to ruthlessly shredding the track. It sits on a set of BC Racing Coilovers, which are well proven in motorsports in everything from drifting to autocross. Additionally, it has a set of Hellcat brakes to stop you and rides on a beautiful set of bronze Hellcat wheels. Last but not least, it has a set of Kooks headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and a Billy Boat cat-back exhaust system.

We love this thing from its roaring exhaust tips to its facelift-swapped front end. We would love to get to drive this thing every day, and we think you would too. We dare you to find another one like it!
