Migos Rapper’s Crashed Hellcat Turns up at Salvage Auction
Offset infamously wrecked his Challenger Hellcat, and now it’s been discovered in a Copart scrapyard in Atlanta.
If the rap group Migos hasn’t been on your radar, one of their tracks probably has at some point. Migos’ first commercial single, “Versace,” was released in 2013 and made use of catchy rapping triplets and relentless repetition of the designer brand name. It launched Migos mainstream career and that staccato triplet style of rapping has become known as the Migos Flow. They’re no one hit wonder, and that style has come to define mainstream rap.
Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, crashed his green Dodge Challenger Hellcat in the early hours of May 16, 2018, in Atlanta. His Hellcat was found by police, but Offset didn’t call them to report the accident. According to TMZ, their sources say that as the car was being put on a tow truck, two people showed up and took items from the car and were heard to say Offest had swerved to avoid a pedestrian that walked out in front of him. Now, a few months later, that same Challenger Hellcat has shown up in a video from YouTuber Samcrac as it’s being held at a Copart scrapyard while being auctioned off.

Offest walked away with cuts and scratches from what looks like quite a hit head on. It’s no surprise his insurance company has written it off as a total loss. As Samcrac points out though, there’s still a bunch of value left in the parts, assuming it goes for the right price.
He also shows us some other cars from around one of Copart’s larger scrapyards in Atlanta, and despite it clearly being an advert for the company, it’s pretty interesting. For a sharp eye with plenty of savvy and skills in the workshop, there’s no doubt a few bargains to be had by a privateer that doesn’t mind a salvage title. Something tells us a Migos super fan won’t be picking up his old Hellcat though.
