Dodge at Legends Tour Bentonville

Dozens of Dodge machines filled the parking lot in a Bentonville for Hot Wheels’ latest stop on its multi-city tour.

The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is in full swing, with just eight more cities to visit on an 18 city 2019 lineup. The latest stop on this whirlwind tour took the Hot Wheels crew to Bentonville, Arkansas, on a very hot 110-degree heat index of a day. Despite oppressive temps, hundreds of eager Dodge (and, well, others) lined the parking lot as early as 7 a.m., a full hour before the show officially started. And that included us here at Dodge Forum. But as always, we early birds scored a pretty nice, fat worm.

We were simply stunned by the number of Dodge and other Mopar muscle that rolled in for the Bentonville Legends Tour. But in reality, Northwest Arkansas is home to a pretty large group of Mopar fans, so we suppose we shouldn’t have been. Regardless, the group of classic and modern rides that showed up to vie for a shot at getting themselves immortalized in die-cast form was nothing short of impressive.

From old school ‘Cudas to brand new Hellcats and Demons, it was quite the diverse mix. And virtually none of them were stock. Heck, we even saw a Challenger wrapped in some sort of sinister snakeskin Alice Cooper design, which was certainly unique. School’s out for summer, indeed.

That’s just a small sampling of the many Dodge and Plymouth rides in attendance. They nearly filled two entire rows in the massive parking lot, in fact. And aside from sparkling paint jobs and custom wrap jobs, we also spotted some impressive airbrush work. Both on the outside of one Grim Reaper-themed Challenger and under the hood of several rides.

Heck, there was even a Charger there with Lambo doors, if you’re into that sort of thing. But our personal favorite ride was probably a 1972 Dodge Charger. With a massive 542 cubic-inch big block under the hood, this thing looked the business. Because there’s nothing like old school, ground pounding muscle in our book.

If you missed out on Hot Wheel’s latest stop, fret not. There are still eight more cities to go before the Legends Tour wraps up 2019 at the SEMA show. There, one of the lucky 18 winners will win the chance to see their ride immortalized in die-cast form. In the meantime, you can find a full upcoming schedule and info on current winners by heading over here!
