Radford Racing School Debuts as Official Driving School of Dodge, SRT
Former Bondurant High Performance Driving School rises from the ashes as the new and improved Radford Racing School.
Most everyone is familiar with the Bondurant High Performance Driving School, a formerly renowned driving school that filed for bankruptcy in 2018 following some financial troubles. The school was purchased by three British natives – Ant Anstead, Jenson Button, and Mark Stubbs – in 2019, who have given the Chandler, Arizona facility an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation and revamped its curriculum. And now, they’ve also given it a new but storied name – Radford Racing School.
Radford is a recently-revived British coachbuilder that previously constructed shooting brake versions of Aston Martins and Austin Minis. Now, the four new owners of the Radford Racing School are reviving the Radford story into a modern lifestyle brand that celebrates automotive design and performance, high-performing driving, and racing.
The good news for Dodge fans is that Radford will remain the official high-performance driving school of Dodge and SRT, which means there are plenty of awesome rides and experiences to choose from. That includes a Dodge Viper experience, Dodge/SRT experience for new owners, a drag racing experience featuring the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, and other on-track options including the Challenger SRT Hellcat, Charger SRT Hellcat, and Durango SRT.
In addition to those vehicles, Radford will also feature Ligier JS F4 open-wheel vehicles, vintage Dodge Vipers, go-karts, and cars used in special forces, police, and military training. The Radford team will also build and test its own vehicles on the Radford Racing School track.
As for the track itself, it has received its first renovation and expansion in 30 years and has added both open-wheel and drag racing courses, with formula racing courses coming soon. Radford is also the first school of its kind to offer professional drag racing instruction to the public and the chance to earn an NHRA Drag License.
The aim of the new racing school is to evolve it into an experience destination for international auto enthusiasts, everyday drivers, new drivers, racers, celebrities, and influencers. And if that isn’t enough, the team behind the school also plans on expanding the Radford brand into experiences, merchandise, branded content (a TV show is in the works), associations with celebrities and influencers, and more.
