Ram TRX, Dodge Challenger, Durango Builds Shine at 2021 SEMA Show
Dodge brought a wide variety of cool customs, production models, and one-off builds to the 2021 SEMA Show.
SEMA never disappoints when it comes to cool new parts and amazing custom builds, and this year is no exception. This is particularly true for Mopar fans, who have plenty of eye candy to soak in at the 2021 SEMA Show, which kicked off earlier this week. Dodge Forum was on hand to capture all of the magic, and we came away impressed with the sheer variety of builds present this year that span a pretty wide spectrum of tastes.
First up, we have the Dodge Durango Mopar ’22 Special Edition, a limited-edition package earmarked for just 250 total units. The special R/T AWD models feature a blue racing stripe, blue badges, blue-painted brake calipers, and a choice of DB Black or White Knuckle exterior colors. The interior is finished in leather-and-suede with blue stitching and embroidery, along with a numbered plaque.
Pickup fans have plenty to see at the 2021 SEMA Show as well, including the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Concept, which is finished in black with blue graphics. The Outdoorsman is designed to be a work truck that can double as a fun weekend toy in the woods and features a bed rack, bed-slide system, a two-inch lift, Fox shocks, and 20-inch Black Rhino wheels wrapped with 35-inch Continental tires.
The Ram 1500 TRX RexRunner Concept might be the coolest of this bunch, as the Ash Gray supercharged pickup features blue and black accents and 18-inch Black Rhino Chamber wheels wrapped with 37-inch Goodyear tires. The bed-mounted RamBar holds prototype 14-inch TYRI LED lights, while custom metal skid plates with laser-etched Mopar engraving and rock rails protect the truck’s undersides.
Perhaps the biggest Mopar surprise at this year’s SEMA Show is the Dodge Challenger Holy Guacamole Concept, which is based on an R/T Scat Pack Widebody 50th Anniversary edition that’s been painted a color called Rotten Avocado. The concept has been lowered on a set of 20-inch Forgeline wheels, with green and yellow plaid inserts in the seats and door panels inside the cabin that pay homage to the 1970 Challenger.
That’s just a sampling of all the cool stuff Dodge brought out to the 2021 SEMA Show, so be sure and check out all the pictures if you weren’t able to make it down to Las Vegas!
