Originally slated to debut at SEMA, the last Dodge Challenger Last Call model is the latest victim of supply constraints.

To date, Dodge has revealed a grand total of six “Last Call” versions of its Charger and Challenger, which will quite literally mark the end of an era as both models are set to head to the proverbial graveyard – at least the ICE versions of each. The 2023 model year is the last for both of these long-running vehicles, which calls for an entire line of celebratory models paying homage to the gas-powered past. However, the seventh and final model in this series – a Dodge Challenger Last Call variant that hasn’t been revealed yet – has now been pushed back, according to the automaker, and won’t be making its debut at November’s SEMA show as expected.

The brand is blaming this delay on “product and supply challenges,” the same sort of thing that has plagued automotive production for over two years now. Turns out, supply issues can also wreak havoc on new vehicle debuts, too. Regardless, the very Dodge Challenger Last Call will be revealed at a yet-to-be-determined date, when it will join the other six Last Call models – the Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Dodge Charger King Daytona, and Dodge Challenger Black Ghost.

It’s unclear what, exactly, the seventh vehicle in this lineup will look like, but recent rumors indicate that it could be based on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. Saving the best for last would make sense in this case, and such a car could arrive packing a fortified version of the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 cranking out as much as 850 horsepower – more than the Demon, in fact.

In the meantime, Dodge also announced that it will be bringing back a host of vintage hues for the 2023 model year, including B5 Blue, Plum Crazy Purple, and Sublime Green, while also adding Destroyer Gray back into the fold. The 2023 Charger and Challenger will offer a whopping 14 color choices altogether, while R/T models will also feature new “345” fender badging, a callout to the 345-cubic-inch Hemi under the hood. The future is certainly looking electric, however, with the recently-revealed Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept giving us a preview of what that may look like.
