The Minnesota Viper Club put the Viper’s “1-of-1” program to good use. Six Dodge Viper ACRs were delivered to lucky owners at one time.

The fifth generation of the Dodge Viper will be the last for the venomous snake, bringing a 25-year run to a screeching halt later this August. With the Viper getting the axe, enthusiasts in the U.S. are taking the opportunity to get their hands on what could be the last Vipers ever made. Take the Minnesota Viper Club, for instance, that just received the largest known delivery of Vipers.

The club, as Motor Authority reports, put the Viper’s “1-of-1” program to good use and got a group of six individuals together to coordinate a group-buy for the supercars. As the outlet points out, the six vehicles were 2017 Viper ACRs that were all fitted with the extreme aero package. Because of course they were. The individuals in the group trekked to Detroit, Michigan, where the vehicles were unveiled. While not every Viper ACR featured a bespoke paint job, every car was personalized in some way through the special program.

One of the new owners is fellow named Matt, who took delivery of a Viper ACR in gorgeous Stryker Purple. Matt, who’s allegedly one of the largest Viper collectors in Minnesota, has owned hundreds of vehicles over the past 20 years. The collector’s stockpile of vehicles happens to include 10 Vipers. But his latest customized Viper ACR is sure to rank at the top of the list.

Production for the Viper will continue until the very last day, but these specialized supercars will all go down as pieces of American history. Here’s hoping that the owners will actually drive the cars instead of locking them up in a garage.
