With a big blower and some other mods, this Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk might just be the quickest one out there.

When the Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk came along just a few years ago, it did so during a time we automotive enthusiasts will one day look back fondly on – a time when you could buy just about anything with a supercharged V8 and 700 or more horsepower. Things have changed as of late, however, with Stellantis opting to essentially kill off the V8 in general and replace it with twin turbo inline-sixes and all-electric powertrains. Luckily for us, there are still plenty of Hellcats and the like out there ripe for the picking, however, and this modified Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is a nice reminder of just what those types of machines are capable of.

Featured in this recent video from Dragy Performance, this Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk was built by the folks at Al Numairy Performance, who slapped a massive 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger on the 6.2-liter mill in an effort to improve upon its factory rating of 707 horsepower. However, that isn’t the only mod present here, either – rather, the engine itself has been punched out to displace 7.0 liters, and it’s running on ethanol, with a Stage 2 gearbox from Compass Automatic Gear behind it.

All of that goodness adds up to some pretty eye-opening numbers – 1,885 horsepower at the crank, in fact, which is a lot, even though this SUV tips the scales at an equally hefty 5,579 pounds. Regardless, it still moves rather well, as we can see in this footage. It manages to scoot from 60-130mph in a mere 3.87 seconds, as well as 100-150mph in 3.82 seconds, in fact. Going 62-124mph takes 3.34 seconds in a resulting run, with 124-155mph flashing by in 2.77 seconds.

According to our host, this is the fastest Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk out there, though we aren’t so sure that’s true. Regardless, Al Numairy claims that it’s the quickest Hemi-powered vehicle in the Middle East – where it’s located – and we certainly wouldn’t doubt that. In any event, it’s clear that this is one blazingly quick SUV – particularly from a rolling start – which makes it one heck of a fun family hauler, as well as a big time sleeper – minus the wrap, of course.
