Default new guy here, if you were me...

Hello everyone, first of all, I've been browsing this forum and it actually seems helpful and that doesn't happen all that much. So good work, everybody. Anyway, here's the deal. I run a small bodyshop and every once in a while you run across a good deal. I bought this car for nothing but it has a blown motor. It's complete but doesn't run. I will rebuild it but is there a better option? I don't want to get too crazy. Is a turbo and the stock 420a a good match? What kind of power can I make with this thing? Thanks for any input. By the way, I'll be painting it while the motor's out and after I take off that stupid wing. So if you or anyone you know is looking for a wing, stop what you're doing and poke yourself right in the eye. Seriously.

Welcome to DF Jons96. Here's some info from the Hahn site.

If you want more out of the 420a, then IMO, rebuild with forged internals.

Someone spent a lot of money on fiberglass parts, the hood is like $800, fenders like $225, Body kit like $800, Ugly wing like $400, all those prices are minus shipping ...

First of all, I paid less than a grand for this. Fiberglass is not my favorite thing in the world but it still makes for a neat project. Also fiberglass sub enclosure molded into trunk, pacesetter header, iceman intake, coilovers, strut bar etc..... I'm happy to report the ugly wing is already gone, and the motor is being removed as we speak. Does hahn sell a complete rebuild kit? Stock cams okay with the turbo (change cam gears)? thanks for the help
