Default Still Dies At Idle, With Other Problems

Car is still dying at idle, but now, it idles way down, then jumps up to ver 1000, then right back down again till it dies. It startes fine, but once it warms up, it acts up like this, lights flicker on and off too. Changed out the plugs and wires (what a pain in the ***), and the car still wont drive worth a damn. Whats next, the distrbuter cap and rotor? This is getting pretty old, if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance for any help.

Your lights shouldn't flicker. That's an indication of a bad PCM (voltage regulator) or alternator. Check the cap and rotor too, like you suggested.
Have you battery and alternator checked or follow the book in checking your for electrical flow.

im so leaning towards the PCM being bad, i had a hell of a time with my car doing some really dumb weird stuff. Ask silver hel tell ya, haha any ways mine sorda did that but my idel didnt jump that bad and i had to stay on the gas when you first started her no matter what the temp was like. I would look areound for a PCM though, I got mine cheap like 50 bucks and everything was fine with the motor after that.
