Random cylinder misfire

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum I have a 96 avenger with a 2.5 liter 6.My engine light comes on because of random cylinder misfireing.What can I do to fix this & get my light off? I appreciate your help,thanks.

several causes ... bad plug wires or plugs ....
bad distributor cap ...
those are the cheaper ones ...

bad distributor is pretty pricey hopefully not that
