Default Underbody neon problem

hi i have a 1997 dodge avenger Es with full underbody neons. and when i went out tonight and turned them on (it is very cold under 32 degrees) and only half ofthe neon on the rear would light up, the other half would light if i pushed on it. could this be because its just cold out or do i have a problem.
Thanks Jeremy

Likely you have a crack in the tube...When you pushed it it "sealed" enough to light

ok, the strangest thing just happened i went outside this morning and i tried it and the whole tube lit.... dont know what happened last night but for sum reason it is working now... and i have a question on LED's, i herd that led's only project individual circles on the ground because there are many individual bulbs instead of one long tube is this true. And do they glow as good as neons do ? and if i were to ever switch over to LED's what brand would u recommend.

It depends how you mount them if they are too low it's seperate lights rotate them and they shine out OK ... I've got streetglow

what size tubes do you have? 48" and 36"? Does a 36"or 34" fit on back ? i dont have a bodykit so im not sure howyou wouldmount the tubes sides seen pretty easy but not sure bout front and side.

Also some cheaper LED will "hot spot" or just show small circles of light on ground
