Hey all. Does anyone know where I can buy a new hood for my Dodge Avenger? It is a 2000 ES model. I have a rust problem. At first it was small and I thought it was the paint that was fading but now it is spreading.

I was going to take it to a body shop and have them paint over the hood but people are telling me it is not worth the money because the rust will come back.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

If it's not that bad they can sand it off then repaint shouldn't be over $200 for basecoat clearcoat

 

Well, it is only on the hood. The rust is not that bad but it makes my car look like someone sprayed graffitti.

If that is all they have to do, then it is fine. Does anyone have any recommendations on who should paint the hood of my car?
