RE: Battery
Unfortunately due to high restrictions caused by the hood you need to use either a series 86 battery which is the same dimensions as the factory battery, or a series 26 which is the same height but not as long. The main difference between the 2 is a few CCA and the reserve capacity. You would need to relocate the battery to be able to fit any other series batteries. Also be careful because if you get a series 26R or 86R you will have problems because the terminals are reversed from the orientation we have. If you turn the terminals so they are close to the engine then you will probably end up having the positive terminal grounding to the hood after it wears thru the insulation material.
