ok.... does anyone know the hp gain of a flowmaster exhaust... i just recently had one installed and dont know the hp gain for it (not sure what series of flowmaster tho)

ok...(badvenge) thanks for the Wetsanding info as well, for my headlight i just got all of my supplies today and tried it and it worked great so thanks alot for the advice. And does anyone know if there is any way to make an exhaust louder... i just had the flowmaster installed, but its not as loud as i would like it.. my brother has one on his 1995 firebird and his is twice as loud as mine is.. is there any way possible to getit louder.

Eventually the insides will open up and get louder ... A high flow catalytic convertor will help also

ok. sweet. well this may sound pretty stupid, but turning off the overdrive does that improve acceleration any? i just never use it so didnt really know

it will prevent shifting into O/D so it will keep the revs higher in the power band but it can hurt you at the far end if you run out of revs

The computer will shift you into the next gear before you run out of revs (in the lower speeds and gears)....so, if you're on the interstate going 70+, then you'll rev really high because you only have 4 speeds + O/D and that has to be selected to go into it.
Was that what you were talking about BV?
