Hey everyone, when i bought my car, it had 17" american racing rims (not chrome)on it and they are starting to age haha.. so i was just wondering where i can take my rims to have them chromed and ive always wondered how much it costs to chrome a rims? any ideas

 

Unfortunately the lower quality rims would require full stripping and rechroming ... most shops will charge $200/$300 per rim ... cost will exceed the cost of buying new rims ...

 

oh wow haha nvm then i thought it wouldnt be nearly that expensive oh well...

 

Chrome costs have skyrocketed due to the byproducts they produce and the EPA regs that go with it

 

ya trust me i wanted to chrome my rims that were factory and it would have cost double what it cost me to get new american racing split rims.. i paid 1000 installed with new all season kelly tires.. not too bad if ya ask me.
