cruise control fuse???
does anyone know of a CC fuse...i havnt been able to find 1...my CC doesnt work...ive checked everything out...its all hooked up as far as i can tell...lights up when i start the car...but the switch wont turn it on...prolly have to take the whole damm dash aprt to check connect. back there...havnt replaced relay on it yet either...help anyone???

If the light is lit up, are u pushing the cruise control lever off of the right side of the steering wheel down to set speed? and are u traveling over 25 mph when u set it
yes i know how the CC workz..lol...
...and it does nothing...but i cant find a fuse newhere for it..;(..i even checked the damm book and i couldnt find a fuse for the lil bugger...lol..maybe im missin something?..im hoping it wasnt when he painted the dash and didnt plug it back in...;(

well try pulling the on off button out and see if the wires are in and check to see if maybe one got pulled out a lil bit. let me know. it cant be to many things ta make the cc work.

Man, I've got a vol.2 service manual for a 97 and I can't even find a CC specific fuse, lol. There are fuses that connect indirectly to the CC though.
When you get a chance check to be sure that the plug is connected like you suggested Joker. Did you say that the tiny light did come on when you pressed the CC button?

the CC light in the insrtument panel lights up when i start the car but pushing the button doez nothing...still havnt pulled the switch out yet..and i looked all through my book and couldnt find an actual "CC" fuse newhere...;(
That panel is really easy to remove. It's just a matter of getting something to pry the panel up with. I use my fingers and then something thin enough to gently get under the panel's lip and voila. It takes about a minute to get this done.
