I just got my a 1995 Avenger off of a private seller. I went to the emissions and it passed the smog test and everything. The problem comes that he asked if he could see under the hood of my car and I let him. The owner before me had put in a preformance are intake. The dude then failed my car because he said that there was no Thermostatic Air Cleaner and there was no Air injection system. I see no where the these are even stock. If someone would please help to know if these are or are not stock and where they are if they are stock. Thank you so much.

 

What is a thermostatic air cleaner and air injection system? I would ask that shop what that is first.

 

IIRC the air injection system is for cars with Califorina Emisions systems. It used to be called a smog pump. As far as the air cleaner I dont know about that.
