Ram Air
Doing a RAM air in general. You'll have to find a hood that has a functional RAM scoop..which is non existant for our cars, not to mention having the scoop in the correct spot. Next you'll have to make a partially covered box for the air filter that leads to the RAM air ducts. A naca duct moulded into the stock hood will be an easier job, but you'll still have to enclose the air filter, otherwise, you'll still be sucking in hot motor air with a RAM filter.
If you have the resources to make one, then I say go for it. Most don't though. A RAM air CF hood is also non existant for our cars.
I've only seen 2 kinds of CF hoods for our cars. 1 is an EVO style hood and the other is a stock style CF hood.
There's another hood, an SS hood with a non functional hood scoop (can be made functional, but you'll have to make the ducting to the air filter + the filter cover) and this one is made in fiberglass only...at least it was the last time I looked.
