Default knuckle bushing replace

ok guys just order some rear knuckle bushings cause mine are totaly busted out. i am wondering how i go about changing them. they sorda dont look to be that hard but i would like to know the best way to go about doing them, has any one else replaced them???

ok so it took me 5 hours to put one bushing in and i didnt even get it in right i had to cut the stupid thing cause i couldnt get the metal ring outta the middle of the knuckle but wow it worked and wow a diffrence lol in one side. i will do the other one tomorrow. is there any way the metal piece can be pushed out so i can get a junk set and put new bushings in the right way..

Joe, are you talking about the upper a-arm balljoint? If you, it would be easier to have them pressed out and in at a shop. Maybe the term I'm using is incorrect? What part is this exactly, lol.

no not the balljoint. its in the rear of the car its called the upper knuckel bushing. its the one that conects the top arm with the spindel its the arm going up to the top the bushings is right there where they meet. i had to torch out all the rubber and cut down one bushing to get it in cause there is a sleeve in there that i cant press out and i didnt wanna take all the stuff apart to do it the clunking noise is gone so it worked and my steering is wow never knew there cornering would get that much better fixing them lol. i have one more to go the drivers side i'l proly give it a shot today if it dont keep raining.. thanx silver
