Default new gauges need info.

Ok i bought some new gauges and wanna know how to hook them up, ok not so much as how but what wires to hook up into for the glo lights and do i have to take out the normal lights in the back of the cluster? i would asume so but just asking they should be here tomorrow and wanna make it an easy install any tips would be great.

I tap the incoming power to the dimmer switch for the + 12 volts and then ground to the metal around the cluster ...
I just turn the dimmer to the off position instead of removing bulbs, also good incase the invertor fails and you have no glo you can turn the stockers back on ....

thats a great idea ta keep them in.. i am hoping they will be here tomorrow can't wait to see them in. and with me taping in to the dimmer switch will they come on when i turn the lights on?
