Default New-B Question

Well just picked up a 97' Venge 2.0 5-speed and was wondering if it's possible to swap out that engine for the 4G63T just the front wheel drive version. I know the engine is opposite direction then ours. Also will the tranny fit or am i better off getting engine, tranny, ecu, wiring and all that in a combo? What i am really trying to do is get a turbo engine pretty much. I know you can pick up a turbo kit for a grand or more, but why pay that when i can get a 4G63T complete set up for around $1800. Just was wondering about any input. Engine has a rebuild under 10k, and i have larger injectors for the turbo kit.

Yes, you can. Not without fabrication though. IMO, if you're going to keep it FWD, build your current motor with forged internals and boost it. That's all the 4g63 is anyway
IMO, if you're going to do the swap, go the extra mile and do AWD.
