bent rim lip
i had a accident awhile ago and somehow bent the lip on one of my rims. it still holds air, bt i'm about the purchase tires and paint the stock rims. is there anyway i can hit it back in shape with soem brass? it looks to be aluminum so i figure if i heat it up it should hopefully hold air still. if anyone has done it or done it before please tell me how. thanks
Aluminum likely will crack / break when you attempt to bend it back .... there are rim repair shops that will repair it by bending it back , welding any cracks , refinishing and repolishing ...
any idea how much it will cost for all 4? i can send em all in. i know for sure one is bent. tire shop showed me when they put tires on. any clue how much these rims weight apiece? they have tires and rims for around 1k. but the stockers dont really look that bad.
