Default bent rim lip

i had a accident awhile ago and somehow bent the lip on one of my rims. it still holds air, bt i'm about the purchase tires and paint the stock rims. is there anyway i can hit it back in shape with soem brass? it looks to be aluminum so i figure if i heat it up it should hopefully hold air still. if anyone has done it or done it before please tell me how. thanks

Aluminum likely will crack / break when you attempt to bend it back .... there are rim repair shops that will repair it by bending it back , welding any cracks , refinishing and repolishing ...

It's around $60/$120 per rim , depending on damage ... one rim not bad all four pretty pricey ... you have to dismout tires to send them in (about #20 )
