Default misfire

i have a 95' avenger and it has a really bad misfire. i have ran the codes and it comes up int. cam signal at PCM. it runs fine and it only misfires at 4000 rpms, and higher. the camshaft tested out fine. does any one have any ideas?

The fact that you're asking about this problem tells me that you probably didn't check the CMP with a lab scope, so until you do that, it is not fine.

when i pulled the termanil off of the cam semsor the car ran fine, it just had a long crank. i have run lab scopes on the vehicle and cant seem to find it. ill check the timing and find out if that is the proablem. with the lab scope on the cam signal was clean and constat. im going to put my friends sensor on my car and see if that solves it, if so ill just get a new cam sensor.
