i picked up a 97 avenger 4 bangeryesterday its an automatic with a cheap exhaust and an intake does it have good potential if not i wont put money into it. im just learnin this tuner thing loli was wondering what mods i can do to nuthing really hard or exspensivei plan on a viper body kit and turbo it i got sick of riding in my friends elipses and humphood talons i want somtheing to beat them and thoses dumb civics drivin around,also it has a problem when u slam it to the floor it hesitates/bogs then takes off any reasons why?

 

The hesitation is from back sparkplugs exspecially if it goes away after 2,500 -3,000rpms. Other cause could be the fuel filter.The lil cars have some real potention exsepcially with4G63-T motor swap and/or AWD conversion, as well as the 3.0L swap. Cheap easy hook ups are in the sticky and the top of the 2nd Gen Avenger home page. Off the top of my head Intake, Exhaust, Coil pack Underdrive pulley, spark plugs and wires.

 

Bogging can also be dirty intake/fuel injectors ... Run some seafoam thru it then see how it does
