ok so i got a 97 avenger 420a motor its an auto trany im really pumped to do the swap to a manual are my best bets to find a donor car i read some othe frorums aand heres the parts they listed i was wondering if there is any thing else i would have to get also any other info i will need to do the swap?

Tranny- new output shaft seals and use the MTX dodge lube. (like $15 a quart)
Rear tranny mount bracket (should come still on the tranny)
Manual ECU (same year as your engine)
Modular clutch and throwout bearing
Flywheel-dont know for sure but I had one so I used it.
Bolts from the flywheel to the crank (they are shorter) & possibly the ones from the flywheel to clutch.
Clutch pedal & brake pedal
Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
Hydralic lines. (recomend getting the complete hydralic system from the doaner car and mabye replacing any crapy lines.
Shifter/linkage
Bolts for the shifter (4) I found some that worked.

any ifo will help i think my friend has a 96 talon 5 speed i might have to use that for the parts also how hard is to change the ecu basicaly splicing wires or harder than that?

 

I Think thats it! I didn't really see too much of a difference between the 2 trans. What do you have for tools? I thought the PCM would be a plug and play?
