Bought my Dodge Avenger ES off the showroom floor back in 1996. Has remained stock ever since, but I recently had a flat tire and a bent rim is to blame. Now I need to replace my factory 16" rims. Trying to decide to just look for the same rim at a junk yard or do a cheap upgrade to another set of 16" rims (my tires are only a year old and I don't want to replace them).

What are my options? I saw some later year avengers that had nicer rims, but I think they were still factory. They had more of a star spoke pattern with a line of beeds/bolts along the spokes. Just wan't sure if the same size. Any other suggestions for other direct replacement rims I could get at a junk yard?

I may even go for some cheap new rims, if the price is right (say under $50 apiece).

that sucks that the rims bent. did the same thing bout 9 months ago. i decided to get 4 new rims though. if youre looking for a somewhat cheap solution... i would look in junkyards, and sometimes people still have theirs after they got new rims... so someone on here might be willing to sell you theirs. ebay sometimes has them, but i haventseenany on there lately. goodluck with the search.

I went to a wheel shop to see if they could straighten the rim. Was to far gone, so he sold me a used one for $105. Buying 4 for $100 would have been a good deal though, except for the shipping part.

97+ i believe had the factory curved 5 spokes that you were referring too
