Does anyone know where I can begin looking to find a conversion kit to chang emy 95 Avenger from a 5 speed manual to a 6 speed manual transmission?? And how many limbs will I have to sacrifice to make it happen?

 

There was never a 6 speed made that will bolt onto that engine or bolt into the car that i am aware of.

Why are you looking for a 6 speed? There are a few other transmissions from the neons that are geared differently that you can swap either the transmssion or the gears to give you a different final drive ratio. However i don't thinks its something worth doing unless your transmission is needing replaced anyways.

I would have to find the list again to be able to tell you which exact models had which gear ratios in them.

 

I know there was not one made specifically for that car...i wish it were that easy! Yes the tranny needs replacing anyway because OD has gone out...no 5th gear right now. So Neon tranny huh? hmmmm i will check into that thanks!
