Default high idle

I just got my throttle body bored and had a new butterfly made, i put it all in and started the car but its now idleing at like 2400rpm. just wondering whats going on. the butterfly is making a good seal(no big gaps), has anyone had this problem and how do you fix it?

I'd recheck the throttle cable adjustment I'm guessing it' too tight pulling the throttle open a bit

well i know i put the sensor in the right spot, i dont think its the cable, because when i put the stock one back in it works fine, and i tried to close it more manually and it didn't help. Does the butterfly have to make a perfect seal all the way around for it to work right? Cause i noticed that when closed i can still see a little bit a light in some spots. O and does the computer have to learn it or somehting, maybe thats why? I have no idea at this point. looking for anything.

Mine was throttle cable ... dunno on yours ...
The butterfly doesn't have to be an airtight seal ...
To relearn disconnect the battery for 10/15 minutes and reconnect ...

the cable isn't tight and i did the relearn thing but its still running high and i know its doing somthing cause after learning it to the bored tb i put the stock tb in and it wouldn't stay running. so its got to be doing somthing but still high. so i don't know. I would really like this to work its not looking good.
