Hi~ I'm new but I just spent some time scanning threads to make sure I'm not reposting. I have a 2000 avenger 2.5L V6 and today my serpentine belt snapped. Would someone please give me some direction in fixing this, or point me in the right direction to a DIY thread? It would be greatly appreciated. Oh, also, are these belts easily attainable or will I have to hunt one down online?

 

The replacement belts are available at most parts stores , mine had a goodyear gatorback belt ...

 

get yourself a serpentine belt tool when you are at the parts store, it will make your life easier. most places have a loaner tool program where you don't have to actually buy it
