was looking on disturbingmotorsports and was looking at the viper hood. Why does it need hood pins?? it looks exactly like the stock hood with a scoop in the middle... whats different about the hood that it needs hood pins.. im not complaining i actually think hood pins looks good. but i was just curious. & does anyone have a pic of the viper hood on a stock body.. ive seen plenty of them on body kits but none on a stock body.. does it look good on stock i passed one avenger with the viper hood & stock but was going to fast to get a good look at it.. pix anyone?

 

Its doesn't have the hood latch thats why you need hood pins. Also on aftermarket bumbers for our cars they don't have the lil spase in the front for the Dodge logo.

 

ANY finberglass or carbon fiber hood must have hoodpins ... the composite is too weak incase a gustof wind ect catches the hood the latch can pull out

 

ic ic.. thx for the info... btw i really dont feel like posting another thread so i gotta question.. took the car into the shop for a banging in the front.. they said it was the strut rod... is this a simple fix.. and where can i find one.. i looked on autozone and advanceauto website and says no matches found. even when i just type in strut it has nothing about the rod.?
