Default 96 'Venge Ideas and Questions.

Hey, I am new to forum. I have a black 1996 Avenger ES(4 speed o/d 2.5v6) and here's whats on my mind.

I want to get my auto outta there. The transmission is not stock, due to replacement 3 or so years ago. It's a good transmission, but I want a manual avenger. I contacted a website wondering which tranny will fit me, they gave me an offer for 600$ for a manual (from what car I DONT KNOW)...I want to find out what tranny will fit me. Can you guys help? I was thinkin Eclipse, or the 4 Cylinder Avenger....any Ideas?

Lambo doors. I will soon purchase a set of lambo doors for the avenger. Any comments, concerns, or whatever on that?

Also, I need a front right tweeter. My old one's blown and disconnected. Any Ideas where I can get that? Tried eBay, no luck. Xept for a set of diamante speakers. (hmm..)

My belts squeak..do I have to replace em?

as a random comment, does anyone else with an avenger hear a HORRIBLE scraping noise as their front bumper makes contact with the ground on inclines and bumps due to the low-ness of the car...or is it just me.
Thanx For your time.
I will appreciate ANY feed back. even the mean ones.

From what I have been told about the switching over ordeal when I changed out my tranny was that the newer body style sclipse v6 model Maual lines perfect with the avenger. Let me know on the new lambo doors when you get them BIRTHDAY is comming around!!!
On the tweeters take out the old ones blew mine when I had the stock stereo went to walmart and bought some tweeters from there wired them up but the cover for your tweeters dont fit so I just left it off sounds and I think looks better. Belts sqeak....humm try anything oilly to lube them up...like vegtable oil...or tire shine...tire shine works for a long time dont know about the vegtable oil. Also witht he vegtable Oil if you have fuzzy head lights just until you get the new ones get a cloth and rub a deceant amount of veggie oil on your head lights and BAM!!!! clear again...for like a couple of weeks or until washed off.
