2 YEARS is a long time to trust a tstat ... I'd replace that first and test the cap for proper release too early can cause the same trouble... I'd rather replace $20 in parts that take minutes before tearing down the motor

Thermostat was repalced and cured the over heating, however, the system has pressure in it indicating exhaust is the coolant. The oil and the coolant are NOT mixing so, it looks as if the gaskets will be done in the future. Gonna have to stay on top of the temp and coolant level....
