Default Rear wheel drive avenger!!!!!

its possible!!! i blew the engine in my 95 avenger 5 spd and was plannin on scrappin it. so my friends and i stripped it down to get it ready to go (and for kicks and giggles) when my friend told me about this guy in pewaukee wisconsin that turned his 4g63 talon into a rear wheel drive monster with over 700whp. all it takes (besides massive fab work) is the bell housing off a jeep liberty and the tranny out of a 2nd gen supra. im researching this right now cuz i so want to do this. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions id be eager to hear it. by the way the wisconsin guy has a website but i cant remember it so ill get it from my friend and post it in case anyone else feels like givin this a shot.

It's far easier to go V8 with RWD .... if you get the V8 daytona kit then make some modifications

Which RWD V8 conersion kit are you talking about? I've been doing a small amouunt of searching for conversion kits and the only think i can find is simple engine swaps.

How much refab work would there be for us to do this to our avenger? I'm sure it wouldnt be straight boltins correct? I mean the motor mounts arent in the same places. Along with engine fitting must be a tight fit o.o

There's going to be MAJOR fabrication work ....
Motor and tranny mounts made ...
New tunnel to allow clearance for the tranny /driveline...
Relocation of fuel tank...
Steering and steering box adapted to rack/pinion, (mustang II or Vega)...

These are what I had to do for my Shelby Charger V8 conversion

Me and my uncle don't mind the tranny and motor mounts, nor the steer box. However we are kinda confused with the fuel tank, and the tranny tunnel seems kinda tough. Alot of cutting/molding and measuring. Bleh.

Look were the fuel tank is mounted ... There is no way to get the driveline THRU the tank ...

Why not use the Eclipse GSX fuel tank? It "drops" into an Avenger with minor work and has provisions for a driveshaft
