Default SRT-4 engine swap

Would an srt-4 engine fit and work with our cars? Obviously have to change tranny and what not, but what other mods might be needed...just curious, thanks in advance for any input!

Simple answer yes. But you could only use the avenger shell. Our cars are more like the 2nd Generation Eclipse's, Talons, Lasers etc in not just the mechanical parts but the electrical as well. If you just want a FWD turbo car use the 4g63 block its be around since the early 87 all the way into the Evo's of 07 has alot more mods , if your set on the SRT-4 block I say go for it just keep us updated

It will be a MAJOR undertaking you'll need the entire wiring harness ECU and everything from the Skittle and need to rewire and reconnect everything from the Avenger to the skittle harness ... You'll also have to rework/mod the engine/tranny mounts ect as well as the shifter linkages ... Unsure if the tranny will mesh with the harness for the speedo ect

I figured that would be the case, bad venge...I'll probably just stick to the 4g63 swap or just get the stage 2 turbo setup from DM, I was just more curious than anything.
